I visited Rutgers Gardens this weekend and ran across a tree in a sweater. It’s a shingle oak (Quercus imbricaria). I did not capture the canopy of the tree - just the trunk. There were several more trees covered in yarn, but I found this one to be the most compelling. :) 67 images, Pixel 2, processed in RealityCapture.
