This housing is for a 12V outlet/USB outlet. It can mount in a standard outlet box, but I have a few places in the motorhome where I want to be able to mount it on a surface, rather than inside a wall. Inside one of the storage bays under the coach is a prime example. The outlets were purchased from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XDDGCOE/ I'm using 6-32 stainless hardware to mount the outlet in the box.
