The second in my renderings of the artifacts from the online series RWBY. This was a little more challenging than the lantern but rather than sitting on this design for any longer I might as well post it as a WIP. All the parts are designed to fit around a 1" dowel for the base and a smaller 0.5" dowel for the upper pieces to keep everything all lined up nicely. Keeping it square however will be up to you during construction. The only part I didn't want to design due to a lot of added print complexity are the accents that spiral around the gem at the top of the staff. These are to be printed flat and shaped with a heat gun to achieve the desired arc around the gem. I'm not sure if they will be long enough at the moment, but I will be doing some printing and tweaking of the design in the future to ensure this technique will work. I will not be uploading a handle for the staff as printed handles are never durable enough, and also I still don't know how long the staff actually is as it's yet to make a full view appearance in the show.
