Ryobi 18V to 40V Battery Adapter

Ryobi 18V to 40V Battery Adapter

Ryobi makes several AC Inverters and USB chargers. The 40V battery RYi300BG is nice because it has a 300W Pure Sine wave inverter, a USB Type C port 5/9/12/20 VDC rated at 2A, and a USB type A port rated at 3A. The only down-side is that I have a ton of 18V batteries and don't really want to purchase another $100+ battery. So I designed an adapter plate, battery carrier, and 18V battery connectors. I only have the one Ryobi 40V tool, so I haven't tested it on the other 40V tools. You should use two of the same Ah size batteries. I used the strap buckle design from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2814683 11/18/2020: I added a V2 battery clip that has a little beefier arms I had nice short Amazon links here of the parts I used, but Thingiverse edited my summary and changed all the links so they could make money off of them.
