Ryobi One+ Lithium Torch Backstay

Ryobi One+ Lithium Torch Backstay

My first, submitted 3D print, on any internet website. As Ryobi saw fit to remove the backstay support bracket, when they redesigned their lithium One+ torch, from bulb to LED, I designed this backstay, to support the handle. I used Freecad (am a novice; had to learn this software, as I have never used CAD software before). As I use this torch in my profession, & I spend a significant amount of time under-houses, I needed the handle support, to prevent it breaking, as happened when an apprentice used my previous torch. To be honest, I can't remember the Cura settings I used. Think I printed it on it's side, with manual supports, in PLA+, with 100% infill, which I painted. The bolt holes/nut profile are M4, in size, though I used M3 bolts & nuts, as it was all I had. It has been on my torch for some 4 months, without incident. Hope you find it useful.
