For this model I kept things simple. The 4 main parts are brass, 1 Teflon Ring Providing the seal and main component of the mechanism, 2 Rubber Seals, and 14 Total Screws. The brass material was chose simply because of its beauty and longevity in a marine environment. The visual indicator embossed on both sides of the handle may be enameled to provide an even higher degree of visibility of the vent position.
