These are updated to fit better, Oct 2, 2014. There is an updated Sabertooth 2x12 case made just for the tank with a receiver case in the Tank, Electronics cases in my things. Wanted to share this cover and lid for Sabertooth 2X12 robotic dual motor speed controller. Mounted a Sabertooth 2x12 on the back top of my tank project, needed to be protected, specially if it lands on its top. Here is a case designed to cover the controller with a lid. Also some blocks to screw to rails if needed. Holes in ends to put wires through. Can supply a case without holes so you can drill your own if needed. Tank project, am designing and building an RC tank with 3D printed suspension and track. Has dual 540 motors, Kyosho high speed worm gear sets with bearings in 3D printed gears cases, Sabertooth 2x12 dual motor controller, swing arm front track tensioner design. Tank is 17.25" long x 10" wide, has 2.375" of ground clearance, long travel suspension. There are two YouTube videos of the tank. One with Dual Mabuchi RS540 motors and one with Dual Brushless Traxxas Velineon 3500/VXL-3S running on dual 3S lipo batteries. Tank hits 11mph with Velineon motors.
