Sable Antelope

Best known for their majestic horns. The horns can grow up to 1.6 meters in length. These antelopes live in a mixture of bush and grassland. They are big antelope and can weigh 350 to 600 lbs. Both male and females have horns. The females have the shorter ones and are not as arched back as the males do. They form a herd of 10 to 30 females to a single male. They feed on short grasses and are herbivores.
