I designed this latch to be the exact same as the mounting kit which comes with the "Regalo 2-in-1 Extra Wide Stairway and Hallway Walk Through Baby Safety Gate with Mounting Kit" found on amazon. These commonly break (mine did) so I designed a replacement. It works great.
