I was messing with OpenSCAD and this design was the result. It reminded me of a sailboat that I sailed in for the first time this July. I love how orgacnic creation in OpenSCAD can be. The design is 1 piece, but I think I have it too small for the replicator on low settings to handle... It was an oops, but it made it appear to be two sails, so I am calling it a win. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: low Infill: 2% How I Designed This OpenScad I opened the linear extrude example and just started playing with the numbers. I switched the rectangle to a circle and then a polygon as I explored the effects of my changes.
