This wooden statue depicts Saint Dorothy. She appears with a basket of roses and a child. According to legend, the martyr was asked on her way to her execution to send back roses and apples from heaven. After her death, her tormentor was converted to Christianity when a child presented him a basket of roses and apples. The figure was once part of the larger group.
