The Sainte-Chapelle is a chapel in the Palais de la Cite, in Paris, France. The chapel is considered one of the great successes of Gothic Architecture. The chapel was orignally built to house Louis IX’s collection of relics. Of course, the most striking feature of Sainte-Chapelle are the stained glass windows, which line three sides of the chapel and form a large rosette, or rose window, on the fourth.
