I wanted a force feedback yoke that didn't cost an arm and a leg. One that didn't look homemade. So I married a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick to a Saitek flight yoke. Others have done similar(ish) mods but this one is somewhat unique as it looks like a regular mild-mannered Saitek yoke. Till you turn it on... It works great. Better than I expected really. There will be a video within the next few days as I have to take it apart to install a couple of covers I'm printing for it. I also have 3D files for all the parts that were used from the joystick and yoke. I'll see about figuring out how to upload the F360 files of those parts. If anyone know please leave the directions in the comments. The support plate is a 3mm thick piece of aluminum plate. I'm using the slide as it creates less parasitic drag. I still have to figuring out how to share the F360 files so that you can see the final assembly. The only fasteners that are bought are 11 m3x16 hex head bolts., 2 nuts, and 20 washers. The pitch motor bracket will need to be cut. keep in mind the brackets are mirror images of each other. So don't cut the wrong one. I'm going to post this message on the build thread and will be adding the additional files and links to the vids there as well. Happy building! EDIT: I removed 2 teeth from the roll driven gear to allow for clearance.
