Saitek Rudder Pedal - Reinforced Toe Gear

I printed the amazing Saitek Rudder Pedal Toe Gear Replacement twice (designed by Phantom329, BIG THANK YOU for sharing). Unfortunately, the part snapped both times. No luck, even by modifying the printer settings heavily (see my comment on the original part). Finally, I decided to add a metal reinforcement to the part on either side: I found a 32 mm flat keyring (like this one: https://amzn.to/2F5szdS) in my spare parts collection and cut it in four parts (enough to reinforce two Toe Gear Replacements) with my Dremel. Finally, I glued them in the cutouts. Seems to be much more stable than what I had before :-) Print with 100% infill, and consider using supports for the bottom cutout.
