This scene was created for a place on the Birmingham City University’s Gamer Camp Pro course. This was completed around March 2017. The salon I created for the art test was completed within 2 weeks I would say I probably spent around 20 hours on the project completing a few hours every evening. The fundamentals of this Western Saloon environment show my capacity to model from a collections of reference images and work to a brief that can be restricting to someone’s creative capacity. I have chosen to submit this piece as the other 3D project I am currently working on isn’t ready. I feel the quality of the model is okay as it got me a place on the Gamer Camp Pro course and Iain Harrison complimented the piece, but said there were a few issues. One of which was that I created to many textures. I’m looking forward to getting the next brief for the second submission of the Searching for a Star competition.
