A tablet stand designed to be adjustable and to use with wooden components. The rubber bands are a security feature for my 7 year old son, who tends to carry his tablet plus stand at odd angles. I did not think it worth trying to build a feature into the model, and rubber bands are cheap and work a treat! Ive also attached the freecad project, Im still a relative newby at freecad, so I know there are mistakes which make it a bit challenging to modify. Also ive included some parts in the project which give you the rough dimensions of the wooden parts (Legs, Cross Support and Upright), which I fashioned from some 18mm plywood. For the upright I just glued 3 pieces together and then cut it to size. Its possible you could make the whole thing with a 3d printer, but it was easier to make these from wood for me. I will paint the pieces eventually. You will need a M8 bolt, and a nut (to be captive inside the knob). I also used M5 bolts on the supports. I used a file to flatten the bolts so they sit either flush or just below the surface inside the holes on the supports, however I am pretty sure you could just use superglue and it would be strong enough, I used both.
