The after market stand I bought just didn't have the correct diameter spacer to fit the vesa support in the back of my Samsung 49 inch TV. The parts were too big in diameter, so I made one that goes in. Update 5/4/19: I uploaded a longer version of the spacer, as the first one is a tad short.
