Samsung Galaxy S5 Mount for Garmin Nuvi Suction Cup

New devices come out year after year, and the accessories between them are never compatible! Enter this adapter. This allows you to use a Samsung Galaxy S5 in an Otterbox Defender case with a Garmin Nuvi Suction Cup. I decided to make this after Mom got a new phone, and she does Navigation/GPS on that instead of an ancient Nuvi. So, I whipped this up so she can keep her eyes on the road instead of having to look down at it all the time. I took the socket part from mythbustingpyro's Defy XT mount, who remixed his from dorsch's Moto X mount. The holder for the S5 was taken from 3DPrinterNinja's S5 tripod. Both of these parts were slightly modified. I made this in Blender(!), and the .blend files are included for anyone who is curious. Feel free to remix this, provided you give attribution. Instructions Option 1: (recommended) Print out NuviBracket.stl and NuviSocket.stl (at least 30% infill). Place the socket on the back of the Bracket, and weld/glue them together. I used maurerpe's PLA welding method (in sources) to weld them together. Works great! Option 2: Print out NuviMount.stl with support. You're done. I only prefer the first option because it takes less time to print and doesn't need as much material, because support is not needed. What method you use has no bearing on the quality of the print.
