The idea is that once you put the phone in the stand it will start charging without you having to plug it in first. This requires that the usb adapter is permanently in your phones micro usb. The one I use is very small and you can carry your phone with the adapter attached in your pocket without a problem. This is the one I use: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06XQZMHMT It was design to work with my Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo, but will work with any other smartphone which is not thicker than 10 mm, not wider than 72 mm and the usb is central. It consist of two parts, both of which are printable without support material added. If you use a diffrent charging connector you might have to adjust the charger mount. There is 0.2 mm tolerance between the two parts and they hold together firmly without any further attachment." Changes : - added a thread and screw to fasten the cable - some basic alteration for better stability - reduction of height - reduction of wall thickness - overall reduction of volume and faster print time The way it is now works great for me and I probably leave it at that. Feels good to leave the house with a 100% charged phone :) Designed with SolidWorks, sliced with Cura and printed with the Anet A8, without any support material.
