Samsung Galaxy S5 wireless charger car bracket

This is a simple holder design that houses a wireless charging puck (70mm diameter x 8mm thick). The arms are sized to fit a Galaxy S5 with a slim case - overall width 75mm. Two screw holes allow screwing to whatever mounting bracket suits you - vent mount, windscreen mount - whatever. I fitted it to a piece of aluminium that screwed to one of the stereo mounting holes. If the arms are too loose, pack them with foam tape. If too tight, warm the arms with a hairdryer and bend outwards a bit (or modify the Freecad file to suit). Extra files have now been added to clip on and hold other phones - Nokia N78 and Nokia 1020. Neither of these are wireless charging and the Galaxy is the main phone used in our cars, but these extra clips slip on to effectively make the holder narrower. The main holder needs to have the slot at the bottom widened to allow the Nokia 1020 to have a charging cable plugged in. You could modify the Freecad file or just saw/file the slot wider. Update - recently upgraded from Galaxy S5 to S7 and with the case I picked for the phone it works just fine with the S7 too. Print Settings Printer: Steelfence Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: Print in ABS for higher temperature resistance. PLA may work but the arms might be too fragile and it may go droopy on a hot day.
