Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Cell Phone Camera Mount Kit

This is a super mixed file set specifically designed for a Galaxy S8 Plus phone with an OtterBox Defender case. The actual tripod is a mix that includes ideas from the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1148654">ppet36 iPhone Tripod</a> and the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2639389">Cell Phone Tripod</a> by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/sthone">sthone</a>. In this mix, I used the beefed up parts from stone but did some rounding to the actual phone mount. I then modified the tripod legs to use the rounded tips that the ppet36 model included. For the tripod, I used a 8/32 x 2" Socket Head Cap Screw and Wing Nut to assemble it. You can use a rubber band to secure the phone to the mount if needed. However, it fits pretty snugly on the Galaxy S8 Plus phone with an OtterBox Defender case. Quite often, one may only need a simple stand for the S8 cell phone camera. As such,I also include a remix of the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2692280">Universal Cell Phone Camera Tripod Mount</a> by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/T_om">T_om</a>. In my remix, I slot the mount to again fit a Galaxy S8 Plus phone with an OtterBox Defender case. I also rounded and angled some corners to use less filament and to give it a little less blocky look. Please note that this mount prints with a 1/4"x20 female thread so it may be directly attached to standard tripod thumb screws. The slot on both mounts is 13.8mm (.54 inches) wide. As such, it may fit many other cell phone models with cases installed. For example, it fits my Galaxy Note 4 with UAG case. I've included my gcode file for my CR-10 printer. If you have a smaller build plate, you may have to rotate the 212mm (8.35 inches) long design 45% to fit diagonally on the build plate.
