Realizing that I'd completely over thought my tablet mounting solution I've knocked this together pretty quickly in Fusion360. This mount is designed to fit a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 tablet. The tablet slips in from the right side of the mount with openings at the bottom for access to the home buttons and USB port. The tablet may be secured in the mount with an M6 screw and low-profile hex nut inserted into the recess in the back of the mount. The mount is designed for use with M4 screws in 100x100, 75x75, 75x50, and 50x75 VESA mounting patterns. It should be possible to flat mount this directly to a dash panel/wall or attach it to most VESA mounts.
