This is a rechargeable light-weight (16g) tracking ball for use on Samsung Gear VR. I use this with the PSMove Service for tracking my head position in Steam VR. The base of the case can be slid under the front lip of my Samsung Gear VR 2016 model, this makes it easy to remove and doesn't need any velcro etc... Can be easily removed but is so light I don't noticed it i.e. my gear vr weights 344g vs 360g with the tracking ball (both without my phone attached). [Edit] Battery life is really good, Feb 18 to March 12 and I still haven't needed to recharge it yet. Been using it for at least 20 hours or more so far Parts: * Adafruit mini lipo charger * On/Off DPDT switch I salvaged * A 200mAH 3.7v Li-Po 402030 battery * Duinotech 5050 RGB LED * White Ping-Pong ball Tools used: * Superglue * Hot glue gun * Soldering Iron * Solder * Flux pen
