Samsung J7 Galaxy Holder for 2011 Ford Escape

I had a Samsung J3 and when I cracked the screen ,I could order a $20 replacement screen that would come in in two weeks or upgrade for $60 to the Samsung J7. I had just installed a Pioneer App Radio capable headunit and liked the Google map Nav. But was not the fastest so an upgrade was in need. But when I drive normally I don't use nav and just put my phone in the console. Which was fine for the J3, but the J7 was slighly larger. So I designed a mount that would fit in the old location and have a spot above slightly larger to hold the J7 and it worked great. this is a tight fit. You have to make sure you sand the base of the holder, but you don't want it loose and bouncing around the vehicle. Now I can just get in my vehicle and drop the J7 into the holder again and plug the USB into my head unit.
