With the recent purchase of a Samsung Phone, I also got a tablet (Samsung Tab E 8" - T377). Could not find any cases for the T377 that I liked so I decided to make my own. Printed in parts - Back Plate and Bumper Created the blank Back Plate and then using a STL editor (comes with Windows 10) I embossed a TARDIS. I've included a blank Back Plate so you can emboss your own design. Printed out the Back Plate using PLA, .2mm height, 20% infill, 1mm thick walls. Note - emossed image goes on the side of the back plate with the smaller surface area The Bumper is printed out of Polyflex. Printed it VERY slow to minimize shrinking. Printing out of PLA or ABS did not work. Bumper broke when trying to insert tablet. Then used clear 2-part epoxy to glue the 2 pieces together. Make sure that the camera opening aligns with the connector hole end of the bumper. Lastly, slip Tab E into its new case. If you decide to print your own version, please share the picts. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: Print Bumper REAL SLOW with flexible filament Printed 1.75mm flexible filament onto glass plate using Taz5 standard .5mm hex hot end extruder. Placed piece of 3mm copper tubing into extruder up to just under the drive gear and set print speed down to 4mm/sec before slicing. Took a few attempts to get the extruder primed but once I did, printing was successful. Clipped a glass plate onto the Taz's heated bed and turned temp down to 45 deg. Filament temp was per mfg recommended lowest temp. Post-Printing Did need to do a little clean up to the bumper with loose strings of filament and clean up around the holes. Small, thin, sharp scissors made that possible. Used 2-part clear epoxy to glue to pieces together. Make sure to double / triple check proper alignment between camera opening on Back Plate and Charger Hole on Bumper.
