Presented is a lens focuser solution to be used with the [Samyang 135mm Lens Collar](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5615266). Achieving precise focus is the most important step in any astrophotography imaging plan. The popular Samyang 135mm f/2 is a great lens for astrophotography, but it can be a challenge to really dial in the focus manually - especially on cold nights! Therefore, I've designed a hands-off focuser solution that integrates with my [Samyang 135mm Lens Collar](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5615266) design. This project has 3 aspects: 1. 3d-printed focuser elements for the gears, motor, and electronics 2. Focuser electronic elements which include a 28BYJ-48 stepper motor, a ULN2003A motor driver, and an Arduino Nano 33 IoT module. 3. Computer software in the form of a Windows Forms Application which communicates with the Arduino Nano 33 IoT module via Bluetooth Low Energy The cost investment for this solution is roughly $40 depending on where you purchase the electronic components. I am using the Samyang 135mm Lens Collar and this lens focuser as part of my astrophotography setup. Take care in adjusting your printing conditions as you feel comfortable.
