Edit: Apparently this is worse than just having open holes in your still air box. Be wary of 'piston effect.' This is used to attach rubber gloves to a box, to make a Still Air Box (SAB) for mycology purposes. This allows you to easily attach and seal rubber gloves to a box of your choice. No hardware or glue is needed. This works with large (L) sized dishwashing gloves with a forearm diameter of about 90mm. Measure the diameter of your gloves at the forearm. If your gloves are larger or smaller, then scale both parts accordingly in your slicer. (For example, if your glove forearm diameter is 100mm, then scale both parts to 111%.) The threads on the nut are recessed by 0.24mm for clearance. Assembly Instructions: 1. Mark two circles on your box using the nut as a template. Make sure your arms will be positioned properly. 2. Cut out the holes. Try to be clean and accurate. Plastic debris on the edge will stop you from making a good seal. (I made due with a Dremel, but a large hole saw would be best.) 3. Wrap the edge of the glove around the lip of the ring part. 4. Push the ring part through the hole, so the glove is inside the box. 5. Screw the nut around the ring from the other side. This will pinch the ring and glove against the inside of the box, so it makes a good seal.
