Sand Hammer Sand Rammer Sand Casting Mold

<p>I made this print because I couldn't find a sand rammer that perfectly matched my needs. This one is designed to fit on a Prusa printer, and be easily castable in sand. All sides have a slight slope, even the bottom, to make casting as easy as possible. The bottom can be sanded flat after casting however I found that I prefer the slight angle.</p><p>This model can be printed at whatever layer height you like, however the smoother the surface finish the better the mold and casting will come out. I printed at .2mm and then sanded, and primed the surface until it was smooth, before adding a layer of spray paint.</p><p>In the 1st picture I have the finished aluminum hammer next to the painted plastic model.</p><p>In the 2nd picture my model is the one on the left, the smaller one was someone else's model that I was trying out.</p>
