Wheel spinner nuts, primarily for my Tamiya retro models to be able to switch wheels fast when needed, you can hand tighten fast and spin them off quick also, made so the nut used is snug but not too tight, first ones I designed snapped in well but you could never get them out so these are a little looser Also wanted a retro look but proper alloy ones too expensive so created these Printed in eSun PLA+ gloss silver but print with anything, ABS if required stronger Please note bottom layer(s) are thin! 0.8mm/1.2mm, 4 or so layers on an Ender3, please ensure you're slicing flat and maybe add raft/brim to ensure you get the layers intact, should be 4/6 layers of circular hole that goes around the axle below the hexagon that captures the nut Printed at 60% fill and seem ok, experiment and change to suit Supports required for overhang but they snap away real easy Feel free to change/mix do whatever you like 2 types, the 'original' blockier ones, there is 'low' and 'high' the higher ones being better suited to larger dish front wheels, the 'new' style are just thinner arms for a lighter look, again in 'low' and 'high' profile though there is only about 2/3mm between them Added a 'realistic' with 3 wings more like a real spinner, probably (definitely!) oversize for scale but practical, again feel free to try or hack as required, again printed at 60% fill with PLA+ but change as required, I'd probably ramp up to 100% fill to make wings stronger and maybe ABS or similar if using outside Add 'realistic new' which are a bit smaller but chunkier as the others are flimsy for regular use
