Mein Wochenendprojekt ... Ich denke, das Konzept dieses DIY-Sandstrahlers ist den meisten bekannt: Durch eine einfache Druckluftpistole wird Sand auf ein Objekt geschossen, um dieses zu reinigen. Die normale Herangehensweise ist, einfach ein Loch in den Hals einer PET-Flasche zu Bohren, und diese dann über die Düse der Pistole zu stülpen, in deren Rohr man vorher ein Loch gemacht hat. Funktioniert, keine Frage. Allerdings ist es unglaublich nervig, wenn ständig die mit Sand gefüllte Flasche von einer auf die andere Seite des Pistole kippt. Dadurch, dass man immer wieder die Flasche abziehen muss um sie neu zu befüllen, leiert das Loch schnell aus und der Zustand wird noch schlimmer. Mein Ansatz ist deshalb 1.) die Flasche von der Pistole zu separieren und 2.) gegen ein Verdrehen zu sichern. Diese DG-10 Pistolen verfügen über einen Sechskant am Auslass, der sich zum fixieren wunderbar eignet. Greift man auf einfache PET-Flaschen zurück, hat man ebenso ein weit verbreitetes PCO1881-Gewinde mit dem man arbeiten kann. Das Ergebnis meines Wochenendprojekt könnt ihr hier herunter laden, und auf eigene Gefahr hin benutzen. Es gibt zwei Ausführungen, die sich in der Stellung des Sechkants unterscheiden. Das Teil klemmt eigentlich wunderbar auf der Auslassdüse, trotzdem empfehle ich, es zusätzlich zu verkleben. Ich habe auch die Entwicklung des Teils bebildert mit dazu getan, vielleicht interessiert das ja jemanden. HINWEIS! Das Loch, welches ich in das Rohr geschnitten habe ist definitiv zu groß. Der Sand geht viel zu schnell zur Neige. Ich würde das Loch maximal halb so groß machen und mich dann an die richtige größe heran arbeiten - wenn nötig. Ich habe ein Bild von einem alten Hammer angefügt. Für den hellen und saubere Bereich haben weniger als 3 Sekunden des Sandstrahls ausgereicht. WARNUNG! Bitte bedenkt immer, dass es sich hier um ein gedrucktes Teil handelt, durch das ihr um die 8 BAR schießt ... da sollte jeder vorsichtig werden. Außerdem macht die ganze Sache eine ziemliche Sauerei, deshalb sollte es unbedingt nur im Freien eingesetzt werden. Ihr müsst unbedingt die nötigen Schutzmaßnahmen treffen, wie Schutzbrille und Atemschutz. Über einen Post zu eurem MAKE würde ich mich freuen und wenn euch gefällt was ich hier bereitstelle, könntet ihr ja mal über ein kleines Trinkgeld nachdenken... das tun leider viel zu wenige. --------------------------------- Weekend project I think the concept of this DIY sandblaster is familiar to most: a simple compressed air gun is used to shoot sand at an object to clean it. However, it is incredibly annoying when the sand-filled bottle constantly tilts from one side of the pistol to the other. Because you have to peel off the bottle again and again to refill it, the hole quickly leaks out and the condition gets worse. My approach is therefore firstly to separate the bottle from the gun and secondly to secure it against twisting. These DG-10 pistols have a hexagon on the outlet, which is wonderfully suitable for fixing. If you use simple PET bottles, you also have a widely used PCO1881 thread with which you can work. You can download the result of my weekend project here and use it at your own risk. There are two versions that differ in the position of the six-edge. The part actually clamps wonderfully on the outlet nozzle, nevertheless I recommend to glue it additionally. I have also illustrated the development of the part, maybe someone is interested in it. Note! The hole I cut into the pipe is definitely too big. The sand runs out far too quickly. I would make the hole at most half the size and then work towards the right size - if necessary. I added a picture of an old hammer. For the bright and clean area, about 3 seconds of the beam have been sufficient. Warning! Please always keep in mind that this is a printed part through which you shoot around 8 bar ... everyone should be careful. In addition, the whole thing makes quite a sourness, so it should be used only outdoors. It is essential that you take the necessary protective measures, such as goggles and respiratory protection.
