Sandmann moon base
thingiverse
The arm now holds two antennas, making it possible to balance the weights perfectly. The rectangular thing is my mini LED dice that I created earlier, which could be envisioned as the landing light on an aircraft carrier ship. See the old picture of the USSR moon base module, featuring a sports and kitchen section with a fish tank marked in blue and plants growing inside. I have uploaded the first beta parts for the base. They include: - The top part designed to match the shape on the underside of the space ship - A half sphere (the upper and lower are identical) without holes for pipes connecting the feet - A mid section ring with no windows - A connector ring (two pieces are needed) - A cap - Radar dish arm V2 - Foot (three pieces each are needed) This design is based on an early USSR moon base concept. It utilizes parts I created earlier, including the Sandmann space vehicle, aka space patrol vehicle, and the radar dish. On the base, the radar dish arm will be movable. With the cap and shaft inside the top disk, a 4mm screw creates a bearing. The base parts have three feet each due to Tinkercad's inability to make symmetrical arrangements easily. By chance, a few windows could be designed, not exactly shaped like they would be in reality, but just to look inside - is there a plant or fish tank inside?
