Sankofa, a traditional West African symbol from the Akan region comes in two forms, the bird and the heart. Each has the same meaning: "The importance of learning from the past." This is symbolized by the bird looking backwards over its shoulder. There are two versions of the bird, one simple and one detailed. Update 10/28: Modified the pendant loop to be printable without support and more stable Also pictured: Hye Won Hye pendant https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2612644 Other Adinkra can be found in my Ghana collection: https://www.thingiverse.com/Chemist/collections/ghana/page:1
