This model is based on real data, making it a realistic 3D representation of Santiago's Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez SCL Airport in Chile. The model comes with three main object groups: Buildings, Road Network, and Aeroway. Buildings feature three pre-set building groups, allowing users to add variety to their structures through different colors, materials, and textures. These groups can be easily turned on or off. Road Network includes two essential objects: roads and other areas. Aeroway takes it a step further by incorporating the road network specifically for airplanes, featuring runways, airstrips, parking spaces, and more. The model is UV-mapped with overlapping UVs to ensure smooth rendering. It does not come with any textures; instead, colors are defined through materials that can be modified in any 3D software. The model is placed on a flat surface, with the road network sitting on the "floor" and no elevation data included. The geometry of this 3D model consists entirely of polygonal quads and tris, making it suitable for fast rendering without textures. It's compatible with various formats, including .c4d (native format), .fbx (v7.1), .dae (v1.5), .dxf, .obj, and even .blend. This 3D model can be licensed for commercial use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 (CC-BY-SA) license. The data used for buildings and streets was sourced from OpenStreetMap at www.openstreetmap.org. Key stats include 31133 points/verts, 24776 polygons, and a streamlined .blend file compatibility.
