Even though the top plate on the Sapphire Pro is fairly thick, the frame still flexes noticeably, also causing vibrations in the cantilevered build plate. I printed blocks to add cross braces in the sides using M4 threaded rod. The blocks are attached in the T-slots, but I had to grind away some material on the T-slot nuts, because of the V-slot aluminium extrusions used on the Sapphire Pro, otherwise they would not rotate properly inside the slot. The difference in rigidity is enormous. You need to print 2 each of the blocks, and optionally the separators for where the rods cross. Hardware needed: 4 pcs threaded rod M4, 520mm long each 16 pcs M4x16mm bolt 20 pcs washer M4 4 pcs locknuts M4 4 pcs nuts M4
