Sarah's Oven Button
thingiverse
Create a new button for Combined Domestic Oven-Grill-Hob/Oven-Broiler-Range in Sarah's kitchen using this OpenSCAD script. The script offers two methods to generate a replacement button. Method 0 (Custom buttons): Measure your existing notched stem button and input the dimensions into the provided .SCAD file. Modify variables for rows, columns, separation, and orientation as necessary. Generate a .STL file, print with full support and a raft if needed, and finish by hand to enjoy delicious meals. Method 1 (Default sized buttons): Download an .stl file of interest, flip and position it on your build platform using ReplicatorG or similar software. Print with full support and a raft if necessary, then finish by hand for cooking tasty dishes. Note that this OpenSCAD script was originally designed for an Oven-Grill-Hob/Oven-Broiler-Range but can be customized for your specific button needs. Additionally, printing may require external support and possibly printing multiple buttons or enabling cooling. The provided .SCAD file includes changes from previous versions, such as moving code to a module and adding array generation with flip ability. The model was created based on a commercial object, so credit is appreciated for the modeling efforts.
