Satsana-compatible Borescope Mounting Brackets

<p>These brackets are designed to allow you to securely mount an 8mm USB borescope to a Satsana fan shroud, pointing at the nozzle. I found existing solutions to be too flimsy for my taste so these are deliberately beefed up.</p><p>The specific model of borescope I use this with can be found here, although any with an 8mm barrel should work: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32967094275.html</p><p>V1 can be glued under the front of the part cooling duct. It places the scope very close to the nozzle.</p><p>In fact, I found this to be <i>too</i> close.</p><p>V2 glues to the front of the duct instead allowing you to mount the scope further back. This version has the added benefit of letting you adjust the height at which you mount the scope.</p><p>The scope push-fits into the bracket. If you find the fit too loose then you can apply a layer or two of tape around the barrel of the scope until it fits snugly.</p><p>Both versions angle the scope 10° from the horizontal and have plenty of clearance assuming you aim it such that the nozzle occupies the centre of the camera's frame.</p>
