Follow me on Instagram for more free stuff! instagram.com/macnayarms/ These fan shrouds can be used on either Ender 5, Ender 5 Pro, Ender 3, or Ender 3v2 using an MK8 (stock) hotend, it features dual 5015 blower fans, and thus greatly increases the ability of printing overhangs. To use this fan shroud: You will need to disassemble your hotend – and splice the black and red wire from your original blower model, together with each set of wires from the 5015’s (red to red, black to black) – or have you own wiring plan. Make sure to leave enough wire in case you mess up. If this doesn’t make sense, or you do not know what you’re doing, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS, and WAIT for the second release of this MOD specifically - which will feature a guide on how to do all of this. You will also need to use octoprint, or some other utility to OFFSET your x and Y axis (roughly -25mm loss) - google how to do this for your setup (for now). IMPORTANT NOTE 2: HARDWARE REQUIRED: 1) Four (4x) M4x20mm screws 2) Two (2x) 5015 24v blowers (buy 24v if you live in the USA). Also, NOT required, but recommended: 1x extra hotend assembly (complete with wiring, heating element, etc) AFTER installation: Essentially, 1x 5015 blower fans equals 2x stock blower fans. So, 2x 5015’s equals 400% the cooling power (when used in combination with this shroud)! You will need to accommodate for this depending on the slicer, or the material you’re using for your prints. TOO much fan WILL create warping, and/or delamination – so, don’t forget to tune the fans (fan speed) to your projects! FDM SETTINGS (suggestions): Parts: 2 - Mainbody, Cable Cap (not required) Orientation: backplate, backside, facing DOWN. Front facing UPWARDS. Resolution/Layer Height:.16-.24 (.2) Walls: 6 (or more) Bottom/Top Layers: 7/6 (or more) Infill: 50% - 80% / Cubic Print Speed: 80% - 100% Supports: YES, PAINT ON* - place INSIDE, only on “exit holes“ Raft? and Build Plate Adhesion: NO, and use a Skirt, or Brim Filament: PETG, or better (Stiffness, and Temp.
