Sausage Roll Maker Fill Mold

Sausage Roll Maker Fill Mold

To help with the filling of a sausage roll, my wife needed assistance to keep the fill in position and a way to compact it. Here is my fill and compacting tool to assist with the fill process. The mold is a frame of 110 x 40mm and 36mm high. The sausage rolls are cooked in an Anko Sausage Roll Maker, model 5659 (distributed by K-mart). My solution to keep the sausage roll fill in-place is to use a custom 3D printed frame and compactor tool. To avoid melting the 3D printed parts, do not allow them to come in direct contact with the heated sausage roll maker. Resting the frame on the pastry placed in the sausage roll maker should be okay, but keep this time short by having your fill ingredients ready to fill straight away. Washing instructions: - Wash in warm soapy water. - Do not immerse in very hot water or place dishes into a dish washer. The high temperatures will cause the plastic tamper to permanently warp. My print is made in PETG 1.75mm 3DFillies red filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. I hope you can find this print useful, too. Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
