Sausage Stuffer Nozzle Adapter

This adapter will let you use your Lem Jerky Gun nozzles on your Lem or Cabellas 5lb sausage stuffer. In the 2nd photo, you can see the difference in the size of the flange on the stuffer tubes. The tube on the left (plastic) came with the 5lb Sausage Stuffer, The one on the right (Stainless Steel) is an aftermarket stuffer tube that I bought at Bass Pro Shops. The Lem and Cabellas 5lb Sausage Stuffers use a nozzle with a 1.5inch flange. The Lem Jerky Gun uses nozzles with a 2.25inch flange. I wanted to use the additional nozzles that I purchased for the Jerky Gun on my 5lb Sausage Stuffer. Specifically, the long tube half-inch (12mm) diameter nozzle that I obtained at Bass Pro Shops for filling the 17mm collagen Snack Stick casings that I get from Bass Pro Shops. The half-inch stuffing tube has a 2 1/8" flange, and works very well on the Jerky Gun. However it is much too large to use on the 5lb sausage stuffer. So, I built this adapter so I could use the larger flange stuffer tubes along with the holding collar from the Jerky Gun on the 5lb unit. You just screw this adapter onto the threaded output pipe of the 5lb Sausage Stuffer as shown in photo #3. Photo #1 shows the 5lb Sausage Stuffer with the 12mm stuffer tube, and using the holding collar from the Jerky Gun.
