This is a spacer for the Savage Model 12 single shot actions if placed into a stock designed for a Model 10 repeater action. You will need to supply your own magazine well fill for the front 2 action screws, but once those are in place, this cap can be used to cover the remaining hole and be close to flush with the stock. You will need to sand the front of the spacer a bit as its circular radius is a little too wide for a mag well just by a little bit, but it should be easy to hit with sandpaper for less than a minute to fit.
