Save the Last 2 This is a bullet holder for MLOK rails that will hold (2) 5.56 or .223 rounds onboard your firearm for when the situation calls for it. -Need two extra rounds as insurance to finish the stage at your local 2-Gun/3-Gun match? -Need an AP round to punch a hole in a bad guy with armor or hiding behind some cover? -Need a 77gr pill or two to reach out and touch someone at the hairy edge of your rifle's effective range? -Want to get a prairie dog barbeque going with a couple rounds of incendiary goodness? -Need a few extra rounds for you and Fido when the alphabet boys have the compound surrounded and your mags run dry? When 30+1 just isn't enough.. whatever you do: save the last two. These bullet holders are designed to fit on most standard MLOK rails, regardless of the construction material of the handguard. To finish mounting you'll need: (2) MLOK T-nuts (2) matching screws (my screw of choice is a 10-24 x 3/8" button head cap screw) Slice at 0.2mm layer height. 100% infill. Print with the narrow side down (bullet tip down). That's why there's a little plate there: for built-in bed adhesion. No supports needed. These have been optimized for 3d printing in this orientation. Prints great with PLA or PETG, but PETG will better handle hot range trips and sitting in your hot car. These are designed to hold your rounds tightly at first. I did the toddler test: my 3 year old can't pull a round out, but my wife can. Leave a couple of rounds in them for a week or so, and the fit will improve. So if you're having a tough time getting your rounds to seat or pull out at first, don't panic. Just be stronger than a 3 year old (jk). It'll settle in - just give it a little time. I have more calibers ready to drop, just doing some final fit/finish and waiting to see if any problems pop up on other people's printers with the 5.56 variant before rolling out the rest.
