Savi's Lightsaber Sheath

I created a Sheath using a 3 inch x 36 inch Mailing Tube to hold Four (4) Savi Lightsaber blades. I didn’t wanted to carry around multiple sheaths for all the sabers that I had acquired and also wanted something a little bit more durable when flying with. My wife sewed a sleeve to place the tube into and then a pouch for the hilts. Bottom file can be printed without supports. There is some slight overhang on the Top file but I have also been able to print without support. *** Material Needed for Sheath: ***

1x 3" x 36" Mailing Tube
(the dimensions used for these files were from specifically the Scotch Brand Mailing Tube, the thickness of the tube is approx. 1.5mm)
1x Top Cap (Four blades)

1x Bottom Cap

4x 3mm Screws (your preference)

1x Craft Felt sheet

Foam Sheet (your preference)

The Top and Bottom 3D files can be press fit onto the Mailing Tube and blades will fit loosely into the holder. I used a 3mm screw along the top holes to hold the top from being easily removed from the tube. The bottom cap is removable incase quick access is needed. Glue a small strip of felt (approx. 3”x.5”) on the rim (bottom half) of the Top Cap for a smooth surface for the blade to slide against. This will also give the blade a tighter fit. I would suggest not using super glue as it will seep through the thin felt and also wait until the glue is completely dry otherwise the glue will transfer to your blade. The foam sheet was placed down the tube to keep each blade separate and to prevent blades colliding in the tube. (your preference)
