SC2 Emergency Button Box Enclosure

<p>This is a remix of @RCHeliguy SC2 Enclosure.</p> <p>RC's had the switch face on but I wanted it to sit on the side of the profile so it needed to be mounted at a 90 degree angle and needed a back -</p> <p>This needs to be undertaken by someone who is competent in electronics and can take apart and reassemble</p> <p>This is a replacement for the stock yellow and black enclosure</p> <p>This will need 2 M6 bolts and Tnuts to fix it to the rig</p> <p>These are the original disassembly instructions from RC -</p> <p>The disassembly process of an Emergency Button may not be obvious. I also don't know if the SC 2 models all shipped with the same switch.</p> <p>Release wires 1 an 2 with a Philips head screw driver.</p> <p>Undo the gray plastic nut and remove the wires.</p> <p>The switch that had wires going to it is released using the center screw.</p> <p>Next remove the rectangular part that is snap fit to the end of the threaded cylinder holding the spring loaded button. This is the hardest part and must be done carefully.</p> <p>At no point should you undo the silver screw that goes into the Red button, there are springs and clips in there that hold the mechanism together, dont ask me how I know !</p> <p>Then the inside plastic nut holding the button in place can be removed.</p> <p>It is then a case of fitting it into the new case and doing the reverse</p> <p>IF THE STL DOWNLOADS OVERSIZE -</p> <p>If the STL is massive when downloaded, please just scale from 100 to 10% and it will be the right size :)</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Creality</p> <p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>Ender 3 Pro</p></div> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>Yes</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.20</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>25%</p></div> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> Eryone PLA Sparkly Black</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>This was printed so the opening was against the bed, I then used support blockers to only have the support in the middle where the top layers were, the overhang is doable by most printers, this saves on filament in support and saves time too. </p> IF THE STL DOWNLOADS OVERSIZE - <p>If the STL is massive when downloaded, please just scale from 100 to 10% and it will be the right size :)</p> </div></p></p></p> Category: Electronics
