scadlib - a library of OpenSCAD functions and modules

`scadlib` - a library of useful OpenSCAD functions and modules. Don't get it from here; clone the git repository: https://circonflexe.cf/git/scadlib.git/ This is a library of OpenSCAD tricks. This is a work-in-progress; the library will evolve as new useful functions are added. The library currently contains the following files: | File | Description | | ----- | ------ | | `math.scad` | Functions and modules related to mathematics: | | | complex numbers, geometry, hyperbolic trigonometry. | | | (heavily used in my [hyperbolic tiling library](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3548303)) | | `common.scad` | Basic functions used by a number of other modules: | | | value tests, list functions, primitive regular-expression engine. | | `dim_arrows.scad` | Add labeled dimension arrows to objects. | | `modules.scad` | Operations on modules: | | | fillet, contour, extrusion along various curves. | | `thread.scad` | Threads defined by a `rotate_extrude` operation. | The library also includes a few more specialized files: | File | Description | | ----- | ------ | | `articulate.scad` | Arbitrary articulated shapes. | | | (think Flexi-Rex, but now it is Flexi-Whatever). | | `rails.scad` | Wooden train tracks (Brio/Lillabo compatible). | | `bricks.scad` | Construction bricks (Duplo compatible). | The images posed in this thing show some of the functions/modules included here: extrusion along a wavy shape, arbitrary object articulation, filleting, drawing of paths. Note that the specialized files (rails and bricks) are still quite incomplete (but are not my main interests for now, since there already exist some libraries for these). My long-term goal is to provide a “standard library” for OpenSCAD. (I am not currently satisfied with MCAD, which I feel to be lacking in quality and in documentation in some places).
