Scallion Regrow Planter
thingiverse
I designed this scallion regrow planter featuring a reservoir bottom and grid to keep the scallion upright and separate. To ensure water tightness, print it at 100% infill. To get started, cut your scallion bottoms off, leaving about an inch of plant and roots intact. Fill the reservoir with water or hydroponic gardening nutrient solution, depending on your preference. Next, place the grid on top of the base and insert the scallion bottoms into the grid openings. Place the planter under a grow light or in a sunny window where it will receive ample sunlight. In about two to three weeks, you'll be able to harvest usable scallions again. Simply repeat the process as needed to keep your scallions regrowing and ready for use.
