Scalpel holder (pegboard or wall mounted)

A safe, easy-to-use holder for scalpels up to 250mm long (including blade). It will fit scalpels and hobby knives up to 4.3mm thick, but you can scale the model in Y-axis if you need it to hold thicker ones, such as with rubber-coated handles. The funnel shape guides the scalpel and makes it very easy to place. The center cutout makes it easy to pick up. Internally, the holder has a slight tilt to match common scalpel handles, which will help offload the pressure on the blade and thereby keeping it sharp longer. A simplified blade symbol clearly shows in which direction the scalpel should be - mirror the model if you are left-handed or prefer the blade to the right. The mounting holes are counterbored to completely fit the mounting screws in order to avoid contact with the scalpel blade. The model is made for standard pegboards using 12mm center hole distance; the pegboard in the photo is from Biltema. If requested, I can adapt it for other pegboard sizes. You can also mount it directly on the wall, on a piece of wood, inside a drawer, on a really big coconut or on a wooden robot from the future, hellbent on destroying all of humanity.
