The openSCAD for the scalpel holder has a parametric base with customizable supports based on how many scalpels you want to be housed, as well as the corresponding thicknesses of the handles. Commercial prices for scalpel holders are hard to find, but fall in the range of $60-100. The 3D printable disposable holder is 42 cents in PLA, about 11 grams. Also includes 3D models of disposable scalpel handles, from 3mm to 6mm thick. The handles are designed to fit blades 10-15. Commercial scalpel handles can cost $1.80+, while the 3D printable versions cost less (3mm = 11 cents, 4mm = 15 cents, 5mm = 17 cents, 6mm = 19 cents).
