Scan of coat with Sense scanner

thingiverse

I have been experimenting with my new sense and found out a couple of things. It does not like USB extension cables. It works great when paired with something like an iPad and Splashtop streaming software (someone else came up with this idea, I will credit him later). I may try the same setup with a spare iPod which is pretty much gathering dust and would allow one handed scanning like in Thing: 192014 by Signworks. I uploaded the full scale version and a more printable size. Instructions I have not printed it yet. From a scanning perspective, it is my best result so far for a surface. From it and another I did today, ambient light reflected from the outdoors seems to work real well.
