SCARAB AMULET

This kind of pendant is inspired by ancient amulets found in sacred Egyptian tomb. The Egyptian beetle, called Kheperer, was considered a powerful amulet with a magical-apotropaic function of eternal rebirth in becoming and transforming. I added a touch of charming with an old fashioned style medallion on the background of the scarab. The medallion has a hexagonal shape because the hexagon (6 sides) for the Egyptians was the conjunction of Fire and Water, the generation. The model could be printed on resin for prototyiping before sending it to made in metal like gold plated brass but it can also be printed in PLA.
