I made a few changes to the original that make it easier to print on a MakerBot Cupcake. I printed it raftless for smoother, flatter surfaces. Changes: (1) slightly shrunk the gear teeth, so they mesh well without sanding; (2) adjusted the dimensions of tabs and holes for better assembly fit; (3) removed some non-manifold geometry from the inside. Instructions Print one base, one wing set, and one head. Remove any printing cruft (raft, raftless perimeter, whatever). Tolerances are tight, so you'll need a clean print. Place wings on pivot posts on base. Test-fit the head on top. The wings should turn smoothly. If they take too much force, or cause the head to pop off, the gears aren't meshing well -- inspect and file down any irregular bits. Once you're happy with the fit, finish the parts to your liking and glue the head on. I used a glop of glue at the square peg, and tiny drops at the top of each pivot post, but be careful not to accidentally glue the wings!
